As some of you may know, we like to expand on the functionality of the box.com and salesforce.com integration. You can see some previous blog posts about such as associating any box.com folder to a salesforce record, or enabling box.com in salesforce communities , or syncing salesforce.com and box.com permissions
Our latest enhancement is allowing the user to leverage the functionality to allow an email to accept attachments and sent directly into box.com. Why would we want to do this? This is extremely useful for support cases where the end user may need to send screenshots or error messages. These messages will get directly sucked into the related folder associated to the case, so the support agent can then view the users’ attachments.
