Google, as some may know, has a very robust reporting and analytics engine, that powers all of their standard platforms that we use day to day. Google being google, has developed an interface to give access to using their visualization engine through their API.
Of course, we thought, why not combine this with salesforce data to deliver deep metrics and reports! By doing some digging we found a great article on Forcetree.com by Edwin Vijay R Advanced reporting and Dashboards in Salesforce: Google Visualization with Visualforce.
Essentially, what this means is we can use data in salesforce to generate real-time graphs and charts that can be embedded into visualforce pages. Very powerful stuff!
