Over the weekend, salesforce.com rolled out the new Enterprise Analytics and Reporting with salesforce.com on Enterprise and Unlimited Editions. The Enterprise Analytics allows for 2 new types of reporting, Joined Reports and Bucketing.
We find that bucketing can be useful, but can also be accomplished by creating custom formula fields on the different objects. Still, not having to create those fields will save us time. See the video below on Report Bucketing overview:
